Cold Laser Therapy

The term cold laser refers to the use of low-intensity or low levels of laser light. Cold lasers are also known as low level lasers because they do not generate heat, unlike those used in surgery. Cold laser therapy involves the application of low power coherent light to injuries to stimulate healing, and reduce pain.

Micro-Current Electrical Stimulation stimulates the production of endorphins. Endorphins are the body's natural pain relievers. As a result, local physiological changes become evident, namely muscle relaxation and improved circulation. When this occurs, oxygen flows more freely and promotes natural healing.

Research has shown that Cold Laser Therapy can treat or reduce:
  • Pain
  • Inflammation
  • Skin conditions
  • Arthritis
  • Musculoskeletal disorders
  • Acute and chronic neck and back pain
